 Custom Club Fitting

WE FIT YOUR GAME

At Golf Etc., we provide performance club fittings. If you're looking to take some strokes off your game, then getting a club fitting is just what you need. The key to success is selecting the right clubs, and we use the latest in technology to ensure you are playing the right equipment for your game.

Fitting You with the Right Club

Why should you have your clubs custom fit? If you have never had your clubs tested at a testing center, then you have probably never been properly fit for golf equipment. We take great pride in our ability to make sure you have the proper weight shaft, length, flex, and correct clubhead. There are no two people built the same, making us all different and unique in our own way, all with different golf swings. While clubhead speed is an important variable in the fitting process, we need to know how you generate your clubhead speed. Because we all generate these speeds in different ways there will be a different weight, flex, and length shaft that will maximize distance and accuracy for all of us.

At Golf Etc., we take a different approach. We firmly believe that a golf shop's recommendations shouldn't be based on quotas, incentives or personal preferences. Instead, the right club is the one that fits your unique golf game.

That's why our first step in fitting you with the right club is a complete evaluation of your swing. Using the latest simulator and launch monitor technology, we develop an accurate profile of your specific abilities and tendencies. We use this data to select the best golf club AND the right combination of club shaft, head and grip to fit your game.

Bag Analysis

A bag analysis requires you, the customer to bring your current bag of clubs in to the store in order to conduct the evaluation. You will be required to hit all the clubs in your bag while being monitored by our Vector Launch Monitor to gather data that allows us to generate a report of distances hit and dispersion pattern with each club. It will show the gaps or irregular distances between each club and whether you are hitting 2 or more clubs the same distance. We will also check each club for frequency (actual shaft stiffness), length, loft and lie on all irons and hybrids, shaft types, grip condition, age and condition of your equipment. This will identify any issues that there may be with your current set of clubs. At the end of the session you will be given a report showing how you perform with each club in your bag and be given a professional recommendation on what your options are to improve performance.

Selecting the Right Ball

With the right ball you can gain more control and more yards. Spin rate, launch angle and ball speed all make a difference to your game. That's why Golf Etc. is committed to fitting you with the right golf ball, in addition to the right club. We analyze the effect your swing has on your ball flight. Then we match you with the best ball for your game.
